I feel like an idiot for saying this but TODAY marks my journey on my quest for weight loss. SERIOUSLY. I've debated it within myself whether to let the world know once again that I am "serious" on losing weight. Well, it's actually for me. I am going to keep tab on my weight every month here on this blog including the dreaded numbers. Horrors!
My Goal I've gained a whooping 60lbs when I got pregnant. I have only lost 30lbs since then (it's been 2 years now!). There were "good" months where I lost a few pounds but there were more "bad" months where I gained the lost pounds and more. The goal is to lose the extra 30lbs.
How do I go about it? I've tried a few crazy "diets". It worked for sometime but I always gain back the pounds somehow. I don't want to deprive myself of any food group so I think the best diet that will work for me is portion control and of course to exercise. I have already started drinking green tea. I read that it helps increase the metabolism and aids in losing weight. I have nothing to lose. At least green tea is scientifically proven to prevent cancer. There is some consolation for me. Hehehe.
The numbers Date: July 25, 2008 Current weight: 163lbs Target weight: 132lbs Target date: January 25, 2009 This means I should lose at least 5lbs a month. Wow! It looks so easy. LOL. But I know how hard it is. I've been in this journey forever. And it would be nice if the journey will end soon.

I have the same goal. I lost 50 pounds two years ago but I gained it back. :( I told myself that if I've done it before, I can still do it again.
