The world is really getting smaller and smaller everyday. My friends who I know from way back my childhood days are scattered all over the world. While it seemed to be difficult to get in touch from another continent during the pre-internet days, now it's easy and hassle free.
Having said that, a friend who is getting married soon just sent me a wedding invitation. I will not be able to attend but it warms my heart that they still thought to send out the invitation to me.
They took a photo of the actual invitation and sent it to me. That was cute! I wondered where they had their wedding invitations made. It's very simple but beautiful.
I told them they shouldn't have made one for me because it's just a waste of money and I won't be able to attend anyway. But still they did.
Oh friends. Some nice and some not so nice. LOL!
