I was supposed to be reading some articles about dental implants Mexico when I saw that almost all of Metro Manila is submerged in flood!
Areas which weren't prone to flood have been flooded now. I think it's the worst rain/flood ever in the history of Manila or Philippines for that matter.
I called my brothers and sister who are in Manila. Thank God they are alright. Their areas are not flooded. But my other brother was stranded yesterday because he was outside. But he came home safely.
I saw people standing in their rooftop, waiting for some help. I saw an old lady crawling in the rooftop. It broke my heart. My prayer goes to all the people who are affected and are still in need of help. I hope the rescue team reaches them soon.
I think the rain has let up already. Thank goodness for that.

Things
I am dreaming another vacation for next year, a big one. I hope it's going to happen.
I plan to run/walk on the treadmill for one hour every morning, then do 15 minutes of jumping rope exercise every afternoon and do stretching and toning exercise on the evening. I hope it's not too much.
I am planning a no-rice diet every evening. But I haven't been able to stop myself from eating rice two nights in a row. But tomorrow is another day.
My friend mentioned that I look younger. Maybe it's my haircut. Or maybe because I don't have acne like I used to have years ago. I guess happiness is a natural acne treatment, or whatever.
I need to write and read more.
I am watching Gilmore Girls again. I bought the complete set this morning and I am a happy camper.
I need to be less obsess about farming at Farmtown and Farmville.
I wish it's Christmas already. I am sooooo looking forward to this event!

Strange drivers
Ho Chi Minh City is best explored by foot. We only realized that on our second day after we've had our share of strange, and demanding cab drivers. Oh, our first three cab drivers were nice and honest. But the last two cab drivers we had were very strange.
One demanded us to pay him 95,000 dong (about $5). He thought we didn't know anything about cab fares. We only paid about 15,000 dong (less than $1) on our first trip to that place. He showed us his meter and it was indeed 95,000 dong. But I am absolutely sure it was rigged or something. So I only paid him 20K dong and left.
The other was one was totally strange. We were all scared inside the cab. The driver kept on talking in his local language even though he knew we were foreigners. He also drove like he was mad and his door was open all the while! I paid him 40K dong and hurriedly left!
But we still did have a great time in the city. The following day, we explored the city by foot and was surprised that everything was walking distance - all the places of interest and the malls were in just one place, District 1!
I was happy that I brought my dependable shoes and of course some disposable shoe covers. It made walking easier and faster =)
So here's my tip. If you're planning to go to HCMC, there's absolutely no need to take a taxi around District 1. Everything can be reached by foot, unless you're already very tired.
Check my other blog about our itinerary in HCM.

Back from Ho Chi Minh
Just came back from Ho Chi Minh City. We had a great time! I was particularly happy I found a very cute dress at a Mango store there!!
Anyway here's a photo of me at the balcony of the Reunification Palace.
This place is filled with grandeur and awe. It has high ceilings, great paintings and great furniture including the patio furniture.
I imagine people living there were wearing great costumes too! Hehehe

On a Mission
I know I sound like a broken record here. But I can't help it if my mind is occupied with schemes or plans of losing weight. After all I am just a girl, who wants to look good. LOL!
I just came back from Ho Chi Minh. I did a little shopping and as expected I have jumped 1 size bigger! I was tempted to buy my original size to give me extra motivation to lose weight but decided not to. I don't want to squeeze my body in tight and ill fitting clothes.
I'll just wait until I lose weight before I buy any clothes my original size again.
Right now, the mission is to lose fat and lose weight about 10-15lbs until Christmas.
I know I can do it. I did it before.

Hot momma no more!
I really, really, really need to read the weight loss supplement reviews. I think I need some help in getting back into shape again.
My cousin commented on a photo of mine (check photo below) in facebook that I have gained weight again. My brother said I have to diet.
Well I know that I have gained weight. But I felt it didn't show yet. And I have been running regularly on the treadmill so I thought it's okay.
Now that everybody noticed my weight gain, I have to be careful in what I eat again.
I think I also need to use my jumping rope again!

New Hair
Presenting my new haircut. LOL!!!!!
I had a haircut and a hair treatment conditioner yesterday at a local salon. I wanted some bangs but the hair stylist said it wouldn't suit me. I insisted but he still wouldn't give me the bangs I wanted. I was a bit pissed. But I let it go. The haircut he did on me was nice.....
But when I got home, my hands itched and before I knew it I was cutting my hair. And the result is a very prominent bangs!!!!
I lovett! LOL!!!!!!!
All I need is some outfit, make up, and blings like loose diamonds and I can go to something fancy already. LOL!!!
Basta, I love my bangs. Hahaha!!!

It's here
Ber month is here!!! That means Christmas is just around the corner. And further more, the end of the year is also just around the corner.
What a fast and crazy year. It's always like this to me. The year starts a little slow and then all of a sudden, boom, it's the end of the year! LOL!
I am a little ashamed of myself. I haven't been really productive. I've let some projects slip away. Nobody to blame but me.
My weight loss project is still on going. Some days are better than the other. But there are days when I just want to completely ignore everything.
Yes, I have gained weight but it is a manageable weight gain. I am working hard everyday or some days to lose them. I am still optimistic I'd be 60kgs before the dawn of year 2010. LOL!
Seriously, I've been eating healthy food again, drinking coconut juice (which is a good source of fiber for colon cleanse, or so I read) and eating lots of fruits ang veggies.
When I am feeling deprived, I indulge a little. But I know when to stop.....sometimes. Hehehe.
The rest of the year is still full of promise. I have two more travels before the year ends. And I am looking forward to Christmas.
I hope and pray everything turns out the way we plan it.
