These past few days leading to Christmas have me a little depressed. I guess I am too excited for Christmas and couldn't wait to be with my family.
The good thing is I have more time to exercise and workout. I have lost some more weight making it a total of 4.2kgs now since I started my recent diet.
My abs looks a little toned now. I kid you not. My shoulders are still the same though. Not too jiggly but not so firm as I want them to be.
Maybe I need some bodybuilding supplements? Or maybe I am doing the triceps and shoulder exercise wrong?
I will be wearing a sleeveless dress on Christmas eve and I am loathe to do so. But I have no choice, I have no alternative dress to wear. LOL!

One more on the list
If I have to add one more on my christmas wish list, it would have to be something we need.
One of our luggages has been torn on the sides. It is still usable because I tried to sew the sides. Hahaha. It doesn't look pretty though.
I am thinking, since we travel a bit, it would be really practical if we buy a very sturdy and cute luggage.
I saw this from the internet. It's simple and looks really solid. Perfect! A Rimowa trolley.
It's a little bit pricey. But maybe it would last long. Calling Santa.....LOL!

Wrong move
We played tennis again this morning. The only available slot in the tennis court was at 6AM so we had to wake up at 5AM.
I slept a little late so I wasn't really looking forward to waking up that early. Hubby woke me up and I almost didn't want to go. Hehehe.
I made the mistake of playing right away without stretching. When I tried to return hubby's volley, I ran and I heard something snapped in my leg. Hehehe, just kidding. Seriously though, my left ankle is a little sore right now but I don't think I need any medical assistance or medical equipment.
I think I'd have to rest my legs/ankle first before I ran (in the treadmill) or play tennis again. Our next tennis game is next Sunday so I think that's enough time to rest my ankle.
Back at home, EJ wanted to have a picture with us, his tennis player parents. LOL!

Treat
I believe in reward system and I practice it myself. Tonight I just came back from my reward.
We had dinner again at Raffles Hotel Le Royal's buffet restaurant. I am so full from eating sushi. I also ate lobster and crabs using my hands. I had to wash my hands my very dirty hands in their sink, which reminded me it looked like Kohler sinks.
I probably consumed more than 1000 calories. Regrets? Not really. It's my treat after all.
I'll burn the calories in my tennis game with hubby tomorrow. I hope. Hahaha!
I am thinking where to dine out again next Friday. I am thinking Thai food.
Lets see.

Tennis and massage
It was another holiday yesterday here in Cambodia. So hubby and I were able to play tennis after we dropped EJ in school.
We played for 1 hour. For 30 minutes we just practiced our forehands and backhands. The second half we decided to play for 1 set. Guess who won? I did, of course! Hahaha.
After the game, I was so tired and my legs and arms were a little sore. We went to a spa right away.
We tried U & Me spa at BKK area. The place is good, the prices are a little higher though compared to Amret Spa, our usual place.
I tried the Body massage with oil. It's half dry massage and half with oil (upper body). It was a little rough for me. So I don't think I'd have another one next time. Hahaha!
They have some herbal massages as well, which reminds me of the herbal acne treatments at home.

Losing little
I think I am reaching another plateau in weight loss. I have been losing little weight since last week. But so far I have lost 3.4kgs already. It's not so bad.
I have been reading articles about this stage in losing weight and it advices people to change routine or do some "active" rest from the current workout. Meaning instead of working out at the gym, you could try yoga or do some fun stuff like swimming or playing your favorite sports.
That's what I did yesterday. I played tennis with hubby in the morning and played bowling in the afternoon. It was so fun it didn't feel like exercising. But of course. LOL!
Oh and I think I should take vitamin c and iron supplements again. They may not be the best diet supplements but they're what I need.
I am hoping to lose at least 1lb this week and of course tone my arms and tummy.

My workout
Let me share some of my workout. I got all these from self.com. And I am so glad I stumbled on their site.
These first two exercises are called plyometric. They are said to burn 10 calories per minute. I tried these and they really suck out my breath.
These remaining three are fast ab toning exercises. I have been doing these for two weeks now. And I feel the muscles around my abs are tightening. Really. Hahaha!!!
Hopefully, after one more month or so of doing these cardio and toning exercise I'd see some result.
