Due to recent events in our lives, we're thinking of securing a health insurance. Hubby has one from his company. But my son and I don't have one.
When we go back to Phnom Penh, I will try to find one that suits our needs. I wonder though, do these insurances cover diagnostic tests or any type of cancer? Just wondering. We'll really never know.
I think it's better to be prepared. Life is full of surprises, including the surprises we may not want.
Health insurances are expensive though. They can run from $1500 to $2000 a year. I have to weigh the pros and the cons. It's either I just put the money into savings or a high return investment.
Speaking of investment, I am so happy the our mutual fund's worth is increasing. It went down so low during the crisis and now it's slowly gaining momentum. I hope it goes up more. That's for my son's college education.
Back to insurance, which insurance do you have?
