I am planning a trip somewhere a little far from our usual destination. While I am excited, I am also a little scared. Not to mention, this whole planning requires me to read so much. It's exhausting to be honest.
Why am I not fully excited? Well, I am scared we'd get lost. LOL! And modesty aside, this trip is expensive. So I still have doubts whether to go for this trip to just invest the money somewhere else. I wish these cash advances are free. You know what I mean? Like I don't have to pay it back. Hahaha! I wish.
I was checking yesterday the Visa requirements for the countries we're visiting. Not much on the list really, just the usual proof of income, insurance, etc. What struck me the most though is the visa fee. Hahaha! We need to pay more than a hundred dollars each for the application. What if we won't get the visa? That's several hundreds of dollars lost. Hahahaha!!! Or should I say huhuhuhu?!
I am getting mental with this trip. My only hope is I get to have a magical time soon, if not to survive this trip. Hahaha!!!
Happy Friday everyone!

Saturday 9: White Wedding

Welcome to Saturday: 9. What we've committed to our readers is that we will post 9 questions every Saturday. Sometimes the post will have a theme, and at other times the questions will be totally unrelated. Those weeks we do "random questions," so-to-speak. We encourage you to visit other participants posts and leave a comment. Because we don't have any rules, it is your choice. We hate rules. We love memes, however, and here is today's meme!
Saturday 9: White Wedding
1. Tell us about the most recent wedding you attended.
++ Geez, can't remember. It's been ages since I last attended a wedding.
2. Do you enjoy attending weddings, or do they bore you to tears?
++ Weddings are fun. At least the ones I have attended.
3. Does marriage in general make you feel confident and good inside, or skeptical?
++ Hmm..confident? LOL!
4. Do you have a photo blog? (If so, feel free to share the link with us.)
++ Nope.
5. Do you find yourself driving less due to the high gas prices?
++ Yes! I am actually thinking of just taking public transpo. Our gas expenses is just too much nowadays.
6. What's the high temperature today where you are?
++ 29C.
7. "It's not the heat, it's the humidity." Agree, or no?
++ It's the same.
8. What's the hottest you've ever been in your life?
++ 40C. Sooo hot!
9. Non-temperature related last question: In your opinion... who's hot?
++ Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt!

Restless
I am getting restless. It's not that I am not busy enough. I am. Sometimes there are days when I don't even finish my tasks online and at home.
But I am looking for another challenge. Something. I don't know what. Just something to stir my mind.
Okay, to be honest I am entertaining the thought of going home again. It's a cycle really but this time, the desire is strong. At least that's how I feel.
I am thinking we should start a franchise business. I heard acid cigars for sale is doing great. But I was thinking more in the line of coffee shop or laundry business.
At the end of this month, SEA Residences phase 1 condominiums in MOA will be ready for occupancy. And that's making me excited.
We went to check the place last week and everything's almost ready, just some minor touches left.
My thoughts are:
We should move in there and lease a commercial space. I think a coffee shop and/or a laundry shop will fare well. It sounds challenging and I want to take that challenge.
But everything, there are risks and sacrifices.
The question is, are we ready for this? Am I?

Souvenirs from the recent trip
We're back in Cambodia since last night. What I got during our vacation in the Philippines? Here's what:
1. Two pimples occupying on the prime spot on my face. The nerve!
2. Some kindergarten graduation ideas. For later purposes...
3. Three kilos of weight gain. I know! In just two week's time. Arrrg. Now you know I was not able to resist food while during vacation. I actually tried to resist during the first couple of days. But I realized it was futile so I just let go. Diet starts as soon as I am ready. Hopefully this week.
4. A dress from Mango, which I love so much. I got it on sale in SM City Cebu. Yup, I also shopped some while we were in Cebu.
5. A tan. I am probably two or even three shades darker. I don't mind though.
So that's what I got in over two week's time in the Philippines. It was a hectic trip. Tiring? Yes. But I won't have it any other way. Well, probably a longer one next time.

++ Our honeymoon was in Maldives. We were lucky because hubby works in Maldives during that time.
Farm aspirations
We went to my brother's farm in Morong, Bataan the other day. My, what great changes have been made!
Our last visit there was almost about a year ago. It was still a jungle-y place. Lots of tall grass. No proper pathway.
They only had one "bahay-kubo" then and several fish ponds for their tilapia fish. I remember we had our lunch there.
Now, they have a 2-bedroom house with a pool. And it has a chock-full of ornamental plants and beautiful flowers. I commented how the place has transformed so much in less than a year's time.
In a few more months, all the flowers will bloom and the place is going to be more beautiful. My husband joked that they can have a flower delivery business of their own, just like the famous, San Francisco flower delivery. Hehehe.
I can't wait to go back there next year. In fact, the place has inspired both hubby and I. We want to have our own farm as well. But we do have to save up for it though. Hopefully, we'll have our very own farm before we retire. LOL!

Quick Hello
Just a quick hello as we are going out in a few minutes....
My last post was 12 days ago. Yeah, it's been that long. I actually have so many stories to tell but I am on vacation so I am taking it easy. Plus there were days when I did not have an internet connection.
Anyway, we're back in Manila after spending a week in Surigao and Cebu City. It's been a whirl wind trip but we had a great time. In fact too much of a good time that I forgot my diet. There were just too much good food around. I stepped on the weighing scale while in Cebu and I have gained 2kgs. Tsk.Tsk. I plan to tone down my eating this week. After all, I have probably eaten food good for one month's consumption already. LOL!
This remaining week, I plan to just enjoy our time. Do some shopping on the side. I also need to check out the everlon diamond knot collection I saw a while back.
Oh by the way, we are staying in East of Galleria this time. We're renting a loft-type condominium. It's great because it's affordable and it's walking distance to everything we want and need.
