We're here in Manila now. We arrived safely last Friday.
One of my worries before going home was that I might be tempted to over eat while here. It always happens to me before. How can I resist all the yummy goodness here in Manila?
But I am glad to report that as of now, I haven't gained a single pound....just yet. One of the things I requested when we checked-in on our hotel was a weighing scale. Hahaha!!!
I am not depriving myself. I actually eat whatever I fancy here. The other day, I ate a big pack of dried mango by myself. I had buffet with my family at Yakimix last Sunday, etc, etc.
I guess exercising every morning helps in maintaining my weight. When I wake up and the boys are still sleeping, I do my push-ups, lunges, some yoga poses and abs exercises. I just can't do the skipping rope because I forgot to bring it. And even if I buy one here, jumping up and down might be too noisy.
Another things that's probably helping me keep my weight off is the shopping. How? Well, shopping entails a lot of walking, right?
The other day, we walked quite a storm looking for intellichlor. Glad, we found it before the kiddo got tired.
Anyway, we'll be doing a lot of walking while we are here so I am confident I won't gain weight. I hope! LOL!!!
I think I can afford to eat a little bit more. I just need to lay off drinking iced tea!
