It's time!
I think it is time I change my big old sunnies to something like this.
Persol aviator sunglasses
I have always worn Jacky O sunglasses because it covers my huge face and it make my face smaller. LOL!
But I have grown tired of it. And besides, I think I got my money's worth already from wearing it everyday. Here are a couple of pictures with me wearing my old, big, reliable brown sunnies.
Believe me, there are a lot more pictures of me wearing the same sunglasses. LOL! Don't blame me though. I love it! I love it especially for its price. I got it for $3 in the market here. Haha!
But now, I think it's time to try the aviator sunglasses. I am not sure if it suits my huge face but I gotta try and take risk.

I want: Red Sofa Bean Bag
I have been trying to look for a sofa bean bag here. It's either I am not looking hard enough or I just don't know where to look.
I have a fixation with red sofa so I'd like my bean bag to be red like this below.

Looks comfy, doesn't it?
My next favorite color is yellow
And color gray isn't bad either...
We had an inflatable sofa bean bag but it burst open because adults sat on it too. It was only for kids. LOL!
I really want a bean bag because it makes reading comfortable. This weekend, I will look in every nook and cranny of this town. Hahaha!!!

Triple delight
I am currently demolishing this food in front of me...
Alright, it's not entirely mine. I share this with my son or more appropriately he is sharing it with me. The funny thing is that, I am eating more than my share!
My son has this innate discipline when it comes to food. He only eats when he is hungry and when he is already full, he stops. How come I am the opposite of him? Sometimes I wish I take after him. LOL!
Every Saturday, I have been eating ice cream. I think it's about a month now. And I know it is the reason (plus the constant lunch out lately) why my weight is now 55.2kgs.
I still work out from Monday to Friday but it's no match to my monster eating habit lately. If I want to keep my weight as it is right now, I need to limit ice cream and indulgences.
We really cannot have ice cream everyday and expect our weight not to go up.

Who wears Prada?
I am reading "The Devil Wears Prada" again.
I feel like my life is so attached to my online life. That even on my supposed free time or my "me" time, I still find myself logging on to the internet.
So far everything's going great. I started reading last week and I am now half way through the book. Don't laugh at me. I only have about 15 minutes of "free" time every day. LOL!
Seriously, it would be great if I'd have a whole day of just doing nothing. I'd love to go to a coffee shop, bring my book, light up cao cigars and read the whole day away.
Opps, I was just kidding about smoking. I don't smoke and I don't intend to. It just sounded good and "sophisticated" to add it to that sentence. Hahaha!!!
What are you reading, guys? Want to share some new book finds with me?

So I thought of forcing myself to read again. I chose 'the devil wears prada' because if I remember correctly, it was a fun read and so was the movie. And since I already forced myself to read I did not want to force myself to finish the book.

Tempting offer
My cousin and a friend who are both based in Maldives have invited us to visit Maldives. The offer is very tempting because the hotel accommodation is free of charge including food! The name of the resort we're going to stay in is Kihaad Maldives. We only need to pay for our airfare and of course carry some cash for miscellaneous purposes.
I really thought hard about this. To be honest, I would love to go. First, it's free (accommodation and food). Second, it would serve as a reunion of sorts with some of our friends. And third, I would love for my son to see Maldives again. He was conceived there and he lived there during the first year of his life.
But from financial point of view, it's not the right timing. We've already travelled to Philippines last May and spent considerable amount of money. And then on October, we are traveling to Japan.
Even if the accommodation and food are free, we will still spend roughly 4K for our airfare and miscellaneous expenses. That's a lot of money! We really cannot afford to spend that much money now.
Sigh.
I am praying for money to drop into my lap so we could go. LOL! Or I could work and sell it consultant insurance or simply scam money from people, just like what the "Birkin scammer" in the Philippines did. LOL! I am just kidding.
But seriously, the heart is willing to go but the pocket is not. Maldives will still be there next year and we could save up for it. Hopefully, we'll still have the same offer again from my cousin. If not, then we will just work doubly hard.

The Fed
Congratulations to Roger Federer for winning his 7th Wimbledon trophy and his 17th Grandslam! I would have been happier if it was Novak Djokovic who won this year's Wimby title. Teehee.
But I gotta give props to the Fed. His passion for tennis has not subsided. Many have written him off (not me, I just shifted allegiance to Nole lol) but he still perseveres and what do you know? He can still beat guys younger than him and he can still win grandslam and become number 1 again.
These are the kind of people who inspire me a lot. They make me persevere and work hard until I reach my goals.
There is such thing as luck but coupled with preparation and hard work, you'll reach far, I believe.
Speaking of hard work, I did 57 continuous push-ups today. That's the longest I've ever done. My goal is to be able to reach 100. I am more than half way there so I will just push harder untilI get there.
I promise to reward myself with either a pandora bracelet or a nice messenger bag.
